Hi.
I have an RLA lease in place for a property, whereby the tenants are fixed with responsibilty for all utility services.
All the Utility companies were adised in writing at the commencement of the tenancy of the tenants names, with their signature, and meter readings.
The tenants have opened accounts for all the utilities.

Scottish Power have acknowledged their presence and sent them demands.
The tenancy continues for a further 4 months.
Presumably they have not paid, so Scottish Power are now seeking redress against me because i am the landlord.
No contract exists between Scottish Power and myself.

Is there legislation that enables Scottish Power to make this demand.
If so. please can I have chapter and verse of the legislation.
Thanks.
Igor Humphrey.
