Hi,

Please can you advise me on the legal position if a tenant falls through internal glass doors within a rented property. The glass was NOT safety glass.

Is there any legal obligation to have safety glass in internal doors?

Is there a health and safety responsibility by the landlord to the tenant (duty of care)?

Could the tenant sue the landlord?

Who is ultimately responsible?

Many thanks for your advice in advance.

Regards,
Steve
