My wife and I have each bought a house in the last year to add to the portfolio (although one house is now our main residence). My wife has also rented out the previous family home which is in her name only. The power of attorney was lodged around 4 years ago. Do we need to add these properties in a formal legal way to ensure they are also covered by 'tenants in common' clauses as are the other properties?
