Early closure of a tenancy by the tenant
My tenant has told me that she would like to buy a property and has asked if she can end the tenancy earlier than was originally agreed in the contract. Contractually she has signed to stay until July 07 and the contract also states that she is required to give a minimum of 2 months notice and must pay the rent up until this date or until I can relet it (whichever is the shorter).
How would you advise I manage this situation? Also, if she does wish to leave before July, how would I go about recovering any lost rental owed if appropriate?
