I run a three storey HMO which can accommodate up to thirty persons. My local Council have told me that in order for me to receive my License I will have to build two extra kitchens and two extra bathrooms in addition to the three kitchens and four bathrooms that are already in situ. Work has already been started on both.
I was under the impression that the Act required such works to be completed within three years from the issue of the License. Is this true?
