I have a tenant who has not paid rent for almost five months in January. She has not notified me of leaving but the house seems empty with all the curtains closed. We have a court date of the 16th January going for re possession. Can I go in and change locks and gain possession earlier? Or can I at least notify her of my intention to come in and check the property by pushing a letter throught the door?
