Hello again world,
heres my number two message..probably lots more to come.
I am doing my homework with a view to buying a property for investment.
My plan was to buy something to let and at a later date ( say 4 years time ) I would make that property available to my daughter when she is ready to get going on the property ladder. Naturally I would let her rent it or buy at a big discount.
I will have funds to buy a property outright.
Being inexperienced I am not sure about the pros and cons of buying a modern flat.
I have noticed that the "Erith" area of kent is pretty good value compared to surrounding areas and it is possible to buy a modern one bed flat overlooking the river for about 140k.
Can anyone comment wether buying a flat is a good or bad idea ? should I go for a house instead.. Is a one bed flat too small for letting purposes...lots of things to ask but I had better not ramble on too much till I read a few comments..
