Hello

Having read all of the posts on teh forum and "Part P" I am still confused. It makes sense to have an electrical inspection to enure the electrical wiring, fuse box, earthing, etc are safe but does 'safe' mean that it needs to comply with the latest standards?

For example, a main board using fuse wire instead of RCD's - This was once safe but I think new houses have to have RCD's. So if my property has fuse wire fuses, do I have to have the whole board replaced to comply with latest standards?

Hoping for a clear yes or no or am i wishing.

Thanks
