Letting Agents Use Digitally Signed Tenancy Agreement
I have found a prospective tenant via Openrent, a relatively new online Letting Agent.
I paid £20 for advertising on the principal websites and they will charge me £20 per tenant for referencing.
For no additional charge to me or the tenants, they will then provide a digitally signed AST, transfer the first month's rent to me and also lodge the bond with The Deposit Protection Service under my name.
Apart from being apparently too good to be true, is a digitally signed AST a legal document?
