I have just completed building a block of 13 no. 2 bed apartments in Longsight and i am intending to rent them to students in July. I am renting each flat to 2 individual students on a joint tenancy.
My solicitor needs to know (for mortgage purposes) are the individual flats or building itself to be classed as an HMO and if so does it need to be licensed.
Any urgent help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
