A tenancy agreement was drawn up on 01/06/06 including an inventory (which alledgedly included a video) the tenant returned the inventory amended on 15/06/06 to include for some damage. The tenant left the property on 01/07/07 and stated that the damage was evident at the beginning of the tenancy and had been included in the amended inventory.

The landlord claims that there was no such damage and as such must have been caused by the tenant.

The Agent cannot provide the video inventory claiming that it is "missing"

Can you please advise the legal position, this is a matter i wish to resolve asap.

Regards
