Recently I purchased a property. The previous owner had a estate agent collecting the rent.
We met the estate agent and spoke about the property and it's current situation. At this meeting the agent suggested they know who the freeholder of the lease is and it would be up for sale and so we offered £xxx. Instantly refused by the estate agent, I suggested the freeholder makes the next offer.
Not knowing the market proce for a freehold I would just like a little guidance if anybody is in the know here.

Thanks
