Has anyone tried this yet?. I had a tenant leave suddenly saying we could keep the bond. The have now dissappeared and unless we track them down and get their repayment Id &get them to sign to say they are willing to give up the bond then we have to get a sworn afidavit from a solicitor and send to the DPS before bond can be released. In the meantime repairs etc need to be done and we cannot get our hands on the bond to pay for it.

Has anyone experienced this before and are the other schemes like this?.I guess the moral of this is to ask them to sign when they are just about to leave the property.
