Hi. I've been researching the TDSL scheme that you support on your website but have a query. At the end of the tenancy agreement it says that you must return the deposit within 10 days of the tenant asking for it (unlike the DPS scheme where they say both parties have to agree to the return rather than just one side). So that means that if the tenants have not yet provided proof that they have paid their utilities bills on vacating (something that can take a good month in many cases) but nevertheless ask for their deposit back - let's say on the day they vacate - I would have to return the deposit in 10 days or we start down the road of a dispute which seems a little heavy handed. Is this right?
