I have a letting agent on full management who let my property as it had been up for sale but not sold with the same firm. For selling purposess I left a fridge and washing machine in the house but told the agent these were not part of the tenancy but the tenant could use them if he wished or get his own. The tenant complained later that the fridge and washing machine were not working and when they had sent somebody down to check fould that the tenant had damaged the fridge chipping off the ice with a screw driver (punchuered it let out the gas)and the tenant was responsible, the washing machine he did not know how to use.
I have now got a bill of 74 for call out fee on top of the 65.00 monthly management fee (the rent 500.00 per month).
Surely as it is full management they should sort this out wih no cost to me as it is the tenants fault.
What is the legal situation over full mangement.
many thanks Joe,F
