Having already paid 500 of the 1100 demanded by my Letting agent; he took me to court over the balance.
Previously he refused to re negotiate a re-signing fee; many agents now are reasonable and ask 125 to 250. But he wanted 7% plus VAT.
The judge found for me saying that the Agent was being unreasonable having first acquainted herself with the Foxton's case v OFT.
