hi,
i have issued a tenant with a section 21 giving him the required notice of two full months however i have now discovered that his deposit was not protected,i have now protected his deposit,whats the best way to proceed,withdraw the notice and re issue it after he is in possesion of his protected deposit details? i have not heard anything from the tenant as regards his deposit one way or the other,is there any required/particular method of withdrawing the 21 notice or is it just a matter of sending him a letter to that effect?am i right to assume that if i dont recieve any notices from him about my failure to protect the deposit until after i have furnished him with his deposit details he cant sucessfully sue me about it?
