Splitting a house into two flats
Iíve physically split a home into two flats and got planning permission granted for doing so.
The original home was mortgaged but the value of each flat will far exceed the mortgage value.
My question is what are the best steps i need to take now to
1) cause the now two addresses to be reflected in the land registry and update the old entry for the single home
2) deal with my mortgage company
Is there any type of lawyer or tradesman that can assist with this start to finish? What sort of fees should i expect?
