Non-Assured Tenancy Agreement/Resident Landlord
I am a resident landlord and hence my tenants have a non-assured shorthold tenancy agreement. Unfortunately information around this type of tenancy is rather limited.
My question is how do I go about evicting a tenant, either at the end of his tenancy period or before - for instance, i have one tenant who is now four weeks behind with his rent. I anticipate that he will continue not to pay. His agreement runs out on 17/02/12.
Can you let me know if the S21 (I have not issued one yet) and/or S8 (eight week non rent payment mandatory ground) are applicable. Or whether there is another easier/quicker method available to me as a resident landlord.
