Hi,

i was given a possession order of a room in a HMO under section 8 by the judge yesterday- the tenant has 14 days to move out of the room/property.

the judge has also given order for the rent arrears, costs, and daily rate to be charged if the tenant is still in property after the rent due date.

on the 6th of january if the tenant is not in the house can i change the bedroom lock and front door lock so he cant get back in? and can i remove his belongings out of the room? he can collect them when he calls me.

or do i need to instruct bailiffs to remove his belongings before i can change the locks?

thanks
Mahmoud
