I have been told to issue a section 8.
This is the situation I have a tenant who tenancy expired on the 14th July, they have not left the property and are causing criminal damage. They are 4 months behind in there rent of approx £2,000. This money has been claimed through housing benefit and spent by the tenant. I just want them out of the property as soon as possible.
What do I do and what is the S8 procedure, is this applicable even though they no longer have a valid tenancy agreement.
