Possession date given
I have recently received a possession order, which expires on April 4th. My tenant is in prison and therefore will not receive a copy of the order.
How would a tenant in prison legally vacate a property? I assume I need him to write and confirm it.
I notice that the order can be contested during the 14-day period after service. To avoid this I think I will let the notice expire and next try to contact the tenant once we have an eviction date anyway.
