I have a tenant who is persistently late with his payments. His six month agreement is up and he is now on a rolling agreement. I would like to issue a new contract with the caveat that continued late payment will result in him only being able to remain as a tenant if he pays six months in advance. Can I do this?

I was going to use the RLA Assured shorthold tenancy agreement form. Should I just insert a paragraph to this effect?
