Getting a property back when not sure if the tenant has left
What happens in the following situation;
Landlord has given tenant section 21 notice.
Section 21 eviction date passes without landlord hearing anything from the tenant.
The landlord is not sure whether the tenant has left or not.
What does the landlord have to do in order to show that he has taken careful steps in order to try and ascertain whether the tenant has vacated or not before the flat can be taken back and eventually re-let.
