Non payment of rents
My letting agent is not passing on the rents they have been paid by my tenants. This matter is now beginning the legal route ie letter of action etc.
1 I now wish to end the management agreement rapidly to safeguard the rent paid to me and appoint another agent - 3 months notice is required by the current agents - what is the recommended course of action, eg transfer of deposit; transfer of TA in mid tenancy?
2 If the agent is holding (or spending) money (ie my money) in their client account and misusing it - does this amount to fraud and what is the proper course of action?
