ccj on bad tenant credit record for rent arrears
I had a tenant who still owes me £850 rent plus the cost of getting rid of her rubbish and mouldy furniture. She ignores our calls and letters so we have now gone to a single claim with the DPS to gain the £600 deposit to go towards covering this.
We are not pursuing her in the courts for the rest because we have suffered enough stress with this already. We are just thankful that she left without completely trashing the place.
But we would be interested to find out how to mark her credit record, not only because of the stress she caused us but also to protect other landlords who she may approach.
