rent arrears and possession
I have a tenant who is 17 weeks in arrears with his rent. He has been in the property since 6.5.06. He has an Assured Shorthold tenancy agreement version 2003-V1mth which I got from your website at the time of the tenancy starting.
The tenancy was for 6 months from 6.5.06 to 4.11.06 and carrying on, from month to month.
I now wish to get this tenant out and get as much of the arrears back as I can.
Can you please advise me what to do and how I stand legally. He is likely to go to his solicitor when I try to evict him.
