I have been told that it is "The Law" that we must give 24 hours' Notice to an exisiting tenant when we wish to show a prospective tenat the property. Can you tell me if this is true?

We have a clause in our tenancy agreement that the tenant must "Permit the Landlord or the Landlord's agents at reasonable hours in the daytime within the last twenty-eight days of the tenancy to enter and view the property with prospective tenants"

We will obviously be reasonable, but are we truly bound by a notice period?

Thanks
