We have a landlord claiming posession through Section 8, he is listed as the claimant. The landlord is well into his eighties, has serious health issues, and will be unable to put forwad his case in Court. The court inform me the only way around this is for him to instruct a solictor as we (as his managing agent) would not be allowed to present his case, or accompany him.
Is there any way around this as a solictor would result in more expense to already substantial rent arrears?
