Hi everyone

Can anyone give me advice on evicting a tenant who has run up massive arrears. I've used a company of solicitors i found on this site whom i didn't realise are not regulated, i didn't notice this statement on their letters, nevertheless the court case was held on sept 22 and the judge adjourned it for another 2 months as my solicitor didn't produce a signed statement from me,this means no rent received for june through to september and now to december this year.
Meantime i paid more money for another debt collection company i got from this site threatening to make the tenant bankrupt, and thier letter was ignored again by the tenant.
Don't know what to do now or what law is in favour of the landord as there doesn't seem to be one.
At my wits end now 4000 and i've been told if the tenant doesn't want to pay it, there's not a lot i can do about it.
The debt collection company said if they do manage to get some money from the tenant i have to pay them 35% to 50%.

Is there anything else i can do?
All suggestions would be better than nothing right now.
