I have been to court and lodged a claim for possession.
I have had the notice of issue from the court (unfortunately, they got the defendants first name wrong on this, so i have told them and assume they will have to serve the notice on the defendant anw.
My problem is that I am out of the country in a fortnight for 5 weeks.
i have somone who is also a landlord who would collect the keys if the tenant does move out, but I am wondering if i ought to get a solicitor to act on my behalf while I am away - in case the judge wants a hearing, or there is a problem.
Any advice please?
