We have 4 tenants in a property on a rolling contract. Of the 4, only one is still from the original tenancy. For the last 2 tenants, we decided not to draw up a new tenancy agreement since we were trying to sell the property. We now have a buyer who wants to move very quickly (cash buyer, who wants to exchange in 4 weeks). By law we have to serve the tenants at least 2 months notice. We have agreed to compensate these tenants 2 months additional rent (on top of their deposit) if they move within 4 weeks. However we have not been able to serve them notice of possession (in writing), because we no longer have the full names of the last 2 tenants to put on this legal document. The other tenants are being uncooperative.....claiming they don't know the names either and can't ask because these tenants are away. Already 1 week of the agreed 4 weeks exchange with the buyer has gone. Any advise??

Ps: I am currently out of the UK and will be for another week, so cannot pay them a visit.
