My S21 Notice to Quit expired on the last day of May this year and the tenants are still in residence, showing no signs of moving. (It has been legally checked and was properly served). I am still receiving housing benefit payments.
My two questions are these:
1) Within what timescale must I start court proceedings for possession? (I hope to be able to wait until I have available funds for this.)
2) The Corgi cert is now out of date. Must I renew it or can I, as I am planning to move back into the house to use it as my own home, inform the tenants that the gas supply is no longer available to them and get it disconnected?
