Dear Sir/madam
My letting/management agent handed over the dep to the tenant without deducting for the damages around 1000. The tenant after taking the full dep sued for improper painting in the house and I counter claimed for the faults in the check out report. The judge said that once if you have refunded the dep then you cant claim anything afterwards. THe law has changed. Is it true?
Why cant I claim it in the county court?
The tenant even though I gave him concession for cleaning, still claimed for cleaning in the court. If he can why cant I
