I had a sewage overflow in my flat 3 weeks ago. It was on a sunday but i got a company to clear the drain and carpets all cleaned the next day. This happened again two weeks later, again its been cleared but whilst some work has been done on the bathroom and one bedroom I have provided alternative accomadation. The tenants still using the flat as well as hotel oppisite. They havn't paid their rent are requesting compensation. While i sympathise it not my fault and dont think its reasonable to withold rent. What should i do, advice please.
