My tenant recently informed me that the sewage drains were block and was entering the rear garden. I was out of the country so he acted to get this resolved. However the cost was 400. I have a good relationship with my tenant and we have agreed to cover the cost between us, however I now know the drain is shared with 3 other houses so we are looking to recover some of the expense. My question is (in case this happens again) who is responsable for the cost at my property. Myself or the tenant???
Thanks
