Section 21 not filled in correctly
It was served on 9th May 2008 but the expiry date was put as 11th May 2008. the assumption on our part was that the notice automatically ran 2 months from the 11th May. Is this wrong?
We're new to all this but 3 days before the court hearing the tenant's solicitor has picked this up.
would it be adviseable to adjuorn the court hearing pending papers being served correctly as we would really perfer to serve a section 8 as he has been a nuisance to neighbours, unpaid rent having diverted funds from the local council to his own bank and not paid us, and has verbally threatened both landlord and agent, and neighbours on several occasions.
