The landlord served a LT20 notice on 20th December which apparently expired on 31st January. The tenant offered to move out by 28th Feb (when he can move in to my property) but the existing landlord has become extremely threatening and the tenant is worried he will just turn up and change the locks.
Surely the landlord is not in his right to do this without a posession order? I just wanted to check because I'm not familiar with company lets and if the notice to quit works the same as a Section 8.
