Solicitor demanding extra money as separate title rather than share of freehold

What is the difference between 'Multiple Transfers' and 'Share of Freehold'?

Is it normal that the solicitor should be asking for more money on top of a fixed price stating that this was for 'Share of Freehold' not multiple title transfer?

What does this actually mean in terms of what I'm buying?
