I am hoping you could advise me on the best course of action where three of my tenants who share a house under one short term tenancy agreement. One has lost his job and has confirmed to me he will not be able to pay his share of the rent this month.

My question is, do I write to the house as a whole that the rent is short or to him as an individual, as they each pay separately into my bank account? Also how best should I prepare for the worst case scenario where he cannot pay for other months coming up. Do I serve them (or him) notice now so I can recover the property should it go on for a longer period of time?
