Training is a requirement of the licensing process for landlords and agents in Wales as part of the Rent Smart Wales scheme (please refer to the Rent Smart Wales website for full details of compliance before purchasing this course).
The RLA is one of the first authorised providers for training in Wales and has a choice of classroom or online approved Landlord training courses under the Housing (Wales) act 2014 (for classroom course click here: Rent Smart Wales Landlord Licensing).
This is an interactive eLearning course and suitable for Landlords only (agents should visit our Rent Smart Wales approved agents course). and covers the main aspects of renting out and managing private rented accommodation in Wales. Similar to the Classroom course it covers the requirements as part of the licensing process and again will require and end of course assessment. You have 90 days to complete this eLearning course and assessment test from purchase.
Please note you will have one attempt at the end of course assessment test so it is important to study each section before completing the test itself. If you are not successful (not achieved the required level) you will have to re-purchase the eLearning course and start again. You will have to pass the test to validate the requirements of successfully completing the Course and the licensing purposes).
This eLearning course is for Landlords (not for agents) with property in Wales and successful completion is a requirement of the licensing process with Rent Smart Wales.
This eLearning course deals with the main principles that affect landlords covering topics including pre-tenancy, setting up a tenancy, during the tenancy, ending a tenancy and more. The course requires you to pass the assessment at the end of course to meet the requirements.
