Helping you find the right builder for your property

We understand how hard it can be choosing a construction company to build an extension, complete alterations, organise maintenance and repairs or find a builder that will complete a project on an entirely new building . Also changing properties to HMO's or converting properties into flats needs to be completed by an experienced and qualified construction company. That is why we have teamed up with the National Federation of Builders (NFB).

The NFB is a professional membership organisation that has been in existence since 1880's. Their members are small to medium sized building companies that have to meet certain criteria before being considered for membership.

All of the construction companies chosen have gone through a rigorous pre-screening process for the Residential Landlords' Association members to ensure that they are:

How does it work?

It is very simple. By visiting the link below you will be led to a page that will give you full instructions.

Firstly, fill in the quotation request giving a brief overview of the work needed and your contact details.

These details will then be looked at by the Area Managers within the NFB. These experienced Area Managers will know their construction members well and will select a few that will be able to carry out the work.

The instruction, detailing your prospective work, will go to this small selection of construction companies who will be instructed to contact you.

You will also be supplied with a list of those companies that will contact you.

From here on it's over to you…

The NFB will also attach a link to an information pack which will show you how to choose the right construction company and what contract to put in place. It walks you, step by step, through what you need to do and what you need your selected builder to do.

Should you have any questions the NFB team will be on hand to assist.
