Rochdale Looks to Renew Additional Licensing Scheme

Rochdale Borough Council are looking to renew their current Additional Licensing Scheme for small houses of multiple occupancy (HMOs). The local authority is looking for the views of landlords, tenants, agents, and other affected parties on the renewal of the licensing schemes which expired on the 6th July 2016.

If approved, the authority has proposed charges of £839 for a new licence and £43 per habitable room for as an inspection fee.

The consultation is due to close 21st February 2017, we will be replying to this consultation and urge our members to do the same.

Telford Landlords Facing £600 Licensing Fees - 17 March 2017
