Sefton Starts Additional and Selective Licensing Consultation

Sefton Council is looking for the views of residents, landlords, tenants, and agents in their newly proposed Additional and Selective Licensing schemes. The consultation proposes to introduce selective licensing in the area of Bootle and additional licensing in parts of Seaforth, Waterloo, Brighton-le-Sands and Southport. The local authority is proposing a full fee of £695 per selective licence and £850 for a full additional licence, which is above the average cost of a licence in London.

The consultation will end the 24th June 2017 and we urge our members to make an official response to the council.
