The Government recently announced plans to end the section 21 possession process, that allows landlords to recover a rental property without having to rely on stated grounds for possession.
There is already a string of restrictions on using the section 21 process and you can read more about them here.
The RLA is challenging a recent court ruling that would prevent landlords using section 21 where a gas safety certificate has not been given to tenants before the start of the tenancy.
Now the Government wants to scrap section 21 repossession altogether. We are campaigning to ensure that landlords can recover a property when they have a legitimate reason.
